The Daewoo is a South Korean manufacturer of automobiles and is also the country’s third largest. The name of this company was changed in the year 2011 by its parent company General Motors, to GM Korea Co. so that it could better reflect the heightened status of GM’s global operations. The name change will formally take place in March this year.
